Using Shimano’s new STEPS e-Bike mid-ship drive unit, the Whyte Coniston is able to take advantage of the pedal assist without compromising on weight distribution and therefore the handing.

The STEPS system features readily adjustable, intelligent power assistance, making it easy to choose how much effort you want to put in and let the motor system do the rest. You also get a range of up to 125km (78 miles) in eco mode and a recharging time of only 4 hours.
